I just got it set up and the installation was easy. The cord is long and comes with a small piece of plastic to hold the cord in place and keep it from slipping inside the fixture, which is a sweet feature.
The exterior paint and the socket itself are great and you would think it was twice the price. It looks vintage and I'm sure you'll be pleased with the packaging.

Feels of good quality love that line is "wrapped"

I used fixture for custom pendant light install over my front door in cathedral ceiling application. So i had to cut a good bit of power cord off but I LOVE that there was more than enough for practically any application. I ended up overcutting so give yourself plenty of slack as the fixture basically binds the power wire to hold it up. This just meant my fixture is bit higher than I originally planned but can hardly tell with my open concept floorplan. I just didn't want to shove large amount of excess wire back into the box.
